Open Shelter Home for Boys was started by Sahyog in October 2017 with 19 boys. The project provides shelter, food, education, and overall development opportunities for orphan and street children who have nowhere else to go.
Currently, Sahyog International Foundation supports the Open Shelter Home's care for 19 children who receive not just basic necessities, but also access to quality education, sports, cultural activities, and life skills training that prepare them for independent and successful futures.

Three balanced meals daily to support healthy growth and development
Regular medical check-ups and immediate care when needed

The Open Shelter Home is more than just a place to sleep. It's a nurturing environment where boys who have faced hardship can rebuild their lives, discover their potential, and prepare for successful futures. Sahyog International Foundation supports this work so children receive not just shelter, but also hope, opportunity, and family.
Many of our boys have gone on to complete their education, find meaningful employment, and become productive members of society. Some have even returned to help mentor younger boys in the shelter, showing that with the right support, every child can thrive.
Your support provides shelter, education, and a brighter future for boys who have nowhere else to turn.
